Client Service Associate


Brownlee Wealth Management is seeking a client service associate to support the firm’s wealth advisors in supporting clients. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on several projects simultaneously and assisting in the business’s operations.

This role will start as a “behind-the-scenes” position, delivering value to clients in the back office, but will grow to include client interactions as the employee learns our systems and processes. The long-term career path is to develop into someone who dispenses advice and manages relationships.

As a Client Service Associate, your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Assisting the advisory team in meeting scheduling, preparation, and follow-up
  • Task managing all aspects of the onboarding process for new clients of the firm
  • Opening new accounts, moving money, maintaining accounts, and everything related to managing custodial relationships at Schwab and Fidelity
  • Maintaining our client portal (eMoney) and performance reporting software (Orion) by linking, titling, and grouping accounts
  • Managing the client service calendar and systematic proactive communication
  • Ensuring continuity of data across CRM, client folders, and the client portal
  • Writing policies and procedures and working with the COO to develop best practices and workflows

Additional tasks may include:

  • Generating investment proposals and conducting investment research
  • Preliminary financial planning analysis for clients and prospects

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Located in Houston
  • Demonstrated interest in growing in our profession
  • 0 - 3 years of industry experience with a financial services firm
  • Experience or interest in learning industry-specific tools (ex., Orion Advisor Services,
  • Fidelity, Schwab, Wealthbox, eMoney, Holistiplan, Wealth.com, Advicepay)
  • A team player with a “no job is beneath me” attitude
  • Intellectual curiosity and comfortable working independently

About the Role

  • Full-Time W2 Position in Houston, Texas (Memorial)
  • Compensation: $60,000-$85,000 annual salary, depending on experience
  • Hybrid role: 2 to 3 days per week in our Houston Office (with flexibility to work from home)
